Untuk meanyakan suatu kebenaran, kita menggunakan kalimat tanya:

    - Do ....? (Untuk subyek I, You, We, They)

    - Does ....? (Untuk subyek She, He, nama orang atau benda tunggal.)

  (Apakah planet mempunyai cahaya sendiri?)

- Does the sun set in the west?

  (Apakah matahari terbenam di sebelah barat?)
